ShootBane is basically a non-profit course, a hobby, but executed at a professional / military level.

The course fee is used to keep range firearms in top condition and purchase supplies for the next class.

This is an obvious statement to those familiar with the cost of ammo, weapons (about 31 firearms are used in the course), range memberships, shooting supplies, instructors' certifications, shooting classes, etc.

Those involved in ShootBane are retired or with other careers who find joy in teaching and shooting. They have great interest in promoting a safe concealed-carry public. Their goal is to instill weapons safety and competency at a professional / military level while debunking myths and old-wives-tales about defensive weapons and their capabilities and about personal defense laws. Their mission is to arrange for each student to shoot a substantial assortment of personal defense weapons, in various range-circumstances, before they purchase a firearm. Lastly, they strive to educate those who choose to exercise their rights under the Second Amendment -- and they seek to do all of the aforementioned at the lowest of all possible price.

The instructors donate their time, effort, and weapons.
